Different paths can be created in the Path group. The user can create Open, Closed, or Circular paths. To activate a path, the user can select it from
the Object Tree. Paths can be used to create Path Animation. Upon clicking any path function, a message will appear in the Message area, asking the
user to start picking the path points. Approve and decline icons will appear at the top left corner of the 3D area to end selection.
The user can create paths as points in 3D or on plane.
The paths toolbar (as shown in the first image above) contains four buttons:
Composite
To create composite path, follow the steps below:
1. Click Create→ Paths → Composite, When you click on it, the Path Creation dialog will appear.
2. In this dialog there are two methods to pick points: in 3D or On Plane, select on plane then click OK.
3. In the message below, you can create paths by three ways: Line Segment, B-Spline or ARC Line, select B-Spline.
4. Now, Start drawing the path on the plane, click on any position in plane to put the start point, then put the second point etc.
When you finish, click OK.
5. To edit the path, select any point on path then move it.
Circular: when clicked, the Composer ask you to select the position for center point of the circle. Then select the position of the point on circumference (Radius) for the circle.
Apply Tangents: when clicked it will ask you to select a hard point that belongs to the 3D object. A tangent is a straight line that touches a curved
surface at a point, but if extended does not cross it at that point.
Generate From 2D: create a 2d path from the outside edges of the 3d objects.
