- What's a vrpackage file?

The vrpackage file is a 3D VR scene that has been created using SimLab Composer, it is one file that contains all of the scene elements including the 3D models, textures, environment settings, interactive elements, and even the package information such as the title and the description. The vrpackage file can be opened by SimLab VR Viewer which is available for PCs, smartphones, and VR headsets. SimLab VR Viewer is the core of SimLab Sharing, it’s where you upload, manage, and share the VR scenes.

The free version of SimLab VR Studio can be used for personal work, students, and hobbyists, it can be used for learning and creating VR experiences.

- What are the limitations on the free version of SimLab VR Studio?

The free version can not be used commercially, it leaves a watermark in VR experiences indicating it was created using the free version of SimLab VR studio, it also does not support exporting models to other file formats like FBX, GTLF, USDZ, or others.
Models created using the free version can only be only opened using the free version of SimLab VR Studio, they can not be later opened using the Pro or Edu versions.
